Trained Manpower For Stone & Construction Industry
The Government of Gujarat (Department of Industries and Mines and Commissioner of Geology & Mining) has set up two prestigious Stone Artisan Park Training Institutes (SAPTIs) - one each at Dhrangadhra and Ambaji in the State. These Institutes are only of their kind in India. The main objective of these Institutes is to train students of rural poor and tribal belts in stone craft and replica watches uk operation of stone working machines through various courses and make them suitable to find employment in stone industry/stone trade later on.
Stone Technology Centre (Training Division) [ STC (TD)] has been appointed as Training Service Provider in SAPTIs to conduct various training courses. The present faculty of STC(TD) at Ambaji and Dhrangadhra consists of an internationally known stone-technologist, a civil engineer with almost 20 years of work experience in stones and stone related field, sculptors, machine operators, architects, designers, civil engineers etc.
